ENERGY

The EAPC is the energy gateway of the State of Israel, and about 75% of the energy inputs used by the Israeli economy, including crude oil, fuel products, natural gas and coal. In addition, the EAPC is the only entry point in Israel for liquefied petroleum gas, which serves, among other things, as gas for cooking and heating, but today is mainly used in industry and in hospitals. About 40% of the local LPG consumption is imported through EAPC’s Ashkelon port, the only one of its kind in Israel.

The EAPC is a significant link in the chain of transmission of crude oil and fuel products, which are transported to various refineries in Israel and serve the local consumer every day in almost every general or personal capacity: from cooking to generating electricity, to travelling by any means of transportation.

Important

The EAPC has a storage capacity of 410,000 cubic meters of fuel products (gasoline, diesel and diesel fuel) at the Ashkelon Port. The storage system for fuel products is connected to Terminal No. 1 and Terminal No. 2 for unloading and loading. The terminals can accommodate tankers with a load of up to 130,000 tons.
