Michael Schiendorfer received his Executive Master of Science in Communications Management at the University of Lugano. He previously studied law at the University of Berne, followed by a post-graduate course at the Institute for Research on Management of Associations and other Nonprofit Organizations (VMI) at the University of Fribourg. After working for various Swiss print media during his studies, he turned to public relations, primarily focused on political campaigning and public affairs. During this period, he was a member of the parliament of the Canton of St. Gall and also vice-president of the young people's wing of the Swiss Christian Democratic People’s Party (CVP).
After broad experiences as a public relations and media relations manager in the software and reinsurance industry, he joined the Hilti Group (based in Schaan, Principality of Liechtenstein) in 2005 as their worldwide spokesperson.
His hobbies are soccer, traveling and history.
