E. Bashkirova is a professional researcher and analyst. She headed the International comparative studies department of the Institute of Sociology the Russian Academy of Sciences.
Since 1992 she is a founder and co-owner of ROMIR, and presently the General Director of “Bashkirova and Partners” LTD. - an independent research agency specialized in social political and market research and consultancy.
E. Bashkirova participated in various national and international forums and conferences. She was a principal investigator in major international and Russian research projects: Eurobarometer (European Commission), “World Values” (1990, 1995-1996, 1999), “Moscow Image” (Moscow Government), “World corruption” (Transparency International).
She is a member of GIA, ESOMAR, IPSA, EAPC; she is also a national representative of WAPOR in Russia, a member of the IAPC board, and a board member of the Russian Marketing Association.
