Julio Aurelio -sociologist- is
President and CEO of Julio Aurelio S.A., Compañía Argentina
Española de Consultoría (ARESCO), a company specialized
in sociological research, public opinion, political marketing research
and electoral campaign strategy consulting. He completed numerous
studies in Spain between 1975 and 1987 where he was appointed counselor
to the Royal Crown and the Partido Popular (PP). He has advised the
PP in most of the electoral campaigns since 1977. At present he directs
sociological and political studies mainly in Argentina and Spain but
also in other Latin American countries. Mr. Aurelio has produced over
2000 studies, the majority of which are related to political campaigns.
He has been consultant in every presidential campaign in Argentina
since 1983. Mr. Aurelio was Dean of the University of Mar del Plata
and he is now a full professor of Public Opinion at the College of
Political Science at the University of Buenos Aires.
