The special construction and the uniqueness of the Europa-Region
Tyrol-Southern Tyrol-Trentino
The Europe of tomorrow needs to have a different face than today. The European Union must not be a fortress of the rich which makes the countries of the former Eastern Europe fail to enter but a project of peace and wealth for the whole continent. Europe is a varied continent and the Union can only profit from this variety.
This confronts us with the important task of finding a new strategic orienteering for Tyrol within this new Europe.
80 years after Tyrol gets the opportunity of becoming again what it has been once: a country reaching from the lake Garda to the mountain Karwendel. Not that South and Welsch Tyrol are becoming part of Austria or Northern and Eastern Tyrol become a part of Italy. This would be yesterday´s stereotyped thinking. Today it means: Europe without borders, common currency, an unique political system without nation-state patronage.
