"Future Europe"
Since 1989 is Europe possible. Before we had the division with a lot of consequences on which we are suffering. The map of Europe has changed. The chances to be self responsible in Europe are increased if we are doing so. Therefore the questions of the finality of Europe is asked.
- Will we have an open Europe? I will looking to a fortress Europe. Some positive and critical developments have to been focused very exactly. There are different proposals concerning the shape of Europe. The convent for the European constitution is of an outstanding importance.
- The current enlargement is extremely important and can not be compared with other enlargements in the past. Also we have to look to those parts of Europe which are not yet part of this enlargement process.
- What is Europe by content? Is it only closer economic cooperation in the single market or what is happening concerning security, education, culture, health and so on? Also it is important which relations are existing between Europe and other parts of the world.
- Especially the EU-Atlantic-Partnership, the relation to the Russian Federation and to the Middle East are for the moment of big importance.
- What are the current challenges? Which obligations are existing for the younger generation and in which way is politics done? What does Europe mean today?
