Mario Voigt, co-founder of “blueberry consulting”, a communication
and political consulting firm placed in Jena (Germany), is going to talk
about the use of "Blogs and the Internet" in political campaigning
at the upcoming EAPC Conference
in Copenhagen from Mai 8 to 10, 2008.
He has worked with CDU at state and national level, candidates for National
(Bundestag) and State Parliament, been involved in several Mayor races,
and Konrad-Adenauer-Foundation. Mario Voigt has also since October 2004
been a Lecturer at the Center for Political Communication, University
of Jena. He is founding member, and today he is administering the constitution
of the Center and designing and teaching courses such as campaign strategy,
election targeting, campaign communications, internet campaigning, field
work, “Get Out the Vote” (GOTV), and Fundraising Strategies.
Mario Voigt has worked in countries as Albania, Belgium, Bosnia, Croatia,
Germany, Israel, Romania, and South Africa. He holds a Master in Political
Science, History and Law from the University of Jena.
